Default Hanger 9 Sukhoi fuel tank base

I am new here and to RC (less than two years), but as anything I get into I go forward head first and learn quick. That said please forgive me if my terms are not correct. Hopefully I can get the message I am trying to send out clearly.

I own several planes, 6 larger than 70". My most recent completed plane is the Hanger 9 Sukhoi. It was built by Rob Linch at RC Hobbys my LHS (local hobby shop) where I bought it. The build is great and I have no gripes with the workman ship of the builder. However I did find a few issues with the construction of the kit, mostly the base that the fuel tank is mounted to. It sits very high in the fuse and the throttle servo sits against the fuel tank. I am worried the vibrations from my DA 85 will wear through the fuel tank.

The base has already broken lose from the support which caused the motor to accerate when flying inverted. This started happening after about 10 flights. I am wondering if anyone else has expirenced this issue or have noticed the location of the servo in relation to the fuel tank.

The other question may be a bit nick picky: the fuel dot location is much lower than the fuel tank which causes the fuel to leak (drain) when refueling after removing the fuel line before connecting the dot. This could be an issue if you are a smoker (I'm not), I just hate having my hands smell like gas when I want to fly this plane. Of course I plan to relocte the fuel dot and I have fixed the base. I need to look into relocating the throttle servo but that may take some more consideration to locate it properly.

Thanks for taking the time to read my dribble.
