If you look at the build threads for this plane, on other forums, you will see this issue is discussed. The tank tray is weak and requires some tri-stock front and back to keep rigid.

Take a look at the threads. This plane is problematic with a DA-85 and there are quite a few steps that one needs to complete in order to make it better.

After losing like 4 of them over a short period of time, there is none left in our entire club and nobody would get another one...
