This is driving me nuts! I am not able to set a reliable idle. Every time I go from low to high throttle and then low again, it is either too high (in the 3000s) or too low and stops. At first I thought it was a servo or linkage problem but I can clearly see the position of the throttle at the carb is always the same while the idle rpm go, as explained before, from too high to too low. I checked for possible air leaks and everything seems to be OK. I must add that this only started recently. |

Check for dirt in the screen in the carb.
