Default advice: portable tug

Hi folks,
ive posted this query at rcgroups and have gotten some response and based on that have made some "preliminary" thoughts. figured I'd post here as the bias is toward big powered scale planes so folks might have more opinions:

looking for a substantive tug...
minimal rigging
removeable tailgroup and/or
removeable landing gears
capable of tugging 25LBS+ glider in the 6m range under CAPABLE hands.

engines ive been told to consider too are
(obvious) DA100
zenoa G62 or 80GT
Evo 80GX

based on these criteria, ive come up with the Top Models Pilatus Turbo Porter
http://www.icare-rc.com/tow_planes.htm
but with objectives and issues:
which 1? the 2.5 or 3.2m - remember, PORTABLE.
go with the tried and true DA100? vs Plettenberg Preadator 30-8 which icare claims "will tow 25-40lbs gliders to sky's limit"?
with a DA100, wonder on both the 2.5 and 3.2m, will the cowl need to be reworked?
caveats regarding making the horiz stab removeable?
caveats esp regarding making the vert fin removeable?
caveats regarding making the landing gear and struts removeable?

i havent committed to anything and so am open to suggestions
