Ok sorry for the gap in the build thread. I got hired on a new job for the Army that requires me to be both civilian and military. Which means double PITA at times.

Nothing ground breaking as I finished her up. Mounting everything in stock locations I balanced out at the rear cabane with the DA 50. Here are a few pointers I will give to those putting it together:

1. Run your servo wires for your top wings before putting in the cabanes. I was special and ended up doing it afterward and had to enlarge the openings slightly.

2. Stock mounting guide works wonders but you can also stand the plane on the tail and get a perfect alignment with cowl and spinner.

3. You will have to trim the landing gear covers slightly to get them to fit. I attached them using a 4-40 nut and bolt.

To keep a more scale and clean appearance I decided to mount my fuel filler underneath the plane right in front of the vent line. I have to double check but right now I get maximum deflection using the stock hardware.

All the hardware is top quality and I think I might have only changed out one piece to my liking. DA 50 I think is the ideal way to go although the 3W 55 might find its way onto it.

I sealed everything using clear packaging tape cause I had it and it works. If you didn't notice in the earlier parts of the thread I was super careful about alignment and triple checking. I found that everything was how it should have been but I like to triple check.
