Default Re: NEW T-REX 500

I just fired up my 500esp tonight for the first time. Had it pinned to the floor. LOL! I'm a total noob and have been bitten! Suddenly there are 7 helis in my hanger! The next biggest is a B400 which I have gotten pretty good with in hovering. Still need a LOT more time on it though. The esp from what I hear should be even easier, although more expensive if (in the rc world, if = when) I mess up.

Anyway, near the back of the manual, at least for the esp there are three setups for various flight modes. To me, they look like a great place to start. I'm thinking the normal mode will work for me for some time.

I'm running a pair of 3s2200 20C batteries and a 12 tooth pinion. Seems like plenty in my brief on the ground test. The cool thing is I have a bunch of these bats as it seems every electric plane I buy uses these. It sure is nice to share power between models!

I would like to try a pair of 2500s perhaps in the future. I don't think I'll need them any time soon.

I can't really help on spare parts yet... For me, I fear it might be another complete kit!
