Hey guys. If anyone is bored and wants to get out this weekend, we're having a little, informal get together this Sunday in honor of one of our coolest club members who was called away from us a few months back. He truly loved this hobby and was found at our field nearly every weekend, almost always flippin' dogs on the grill in between flights. He would cook just to get more people to come out and fly. His name is Mark Hoffee. If you knew him, you'd remember him for sure. LOL. He was layed back and didn't care one bit to impress anyone. He was who he was and if you didn't like that,

you! He really was a cool cat and the most dedicated modeller I've EVER met. It didn't matter that he didn't fly like the pros, but felt as if he had everytime he landed without tearing up something. If he trashed a plane, he'd be right back the next day with something else saying something like " Well lets see if this

flies better than that last piece of

cheap

plane.

." So in his honor, we've selected a beautiful Sunday to invite others out and share the memories we've all known him for and cook some dogs at the Mark Hoffee

Hot Dog Fun Fly, burn some glow, gas, and batteries, air it out, flip it around, hover it, fly it in a circle, do a couple 0 of 8's, and just let him know we miss him and this day's for him. So, like I said, if you don't have anything going on and feel like flying somewhere different, come on over to the North Ridge Airpark in Shreveport and fly with the SHARKS. We'd love to see you. Mark's Mother will be at the field to enjoy the hobby he loved so much and meet the gang. All you need to do is bring some planes and an AMA card and your set.
