Default Re: Blown up to 124" Ziroli Corsair Build

I have decided to weather the plane. I just don't know to what amount yet. I will prime it with silver primer of prime it and then put a coat of silver paint on so when scuffing it up it will appear to be bare aluminum. I have to figure out the rust part yet. My parts were delayed in shipment until today so now it will be next week before the build starts again. It will most likely start with the making of the cowl. I ordered 4 F-1 firewalls so I could make a wedding cake plug and then use florist foam for the nose ring. I will detail it step by step. This is my first attempt at a cowl. I've made many other fiberglass parts for my Corsairs in the past but never this size project. I do have a builder that has offered to do it if I fail. Here is the latest picture of a fellow builders plug for his 50% enlarged 120" Hellcat.
