Default First Place 5.8 problems HELP prt2

Well, after many experiments with the engine problem we think we boiled it down to one thing, the IGNTION. Just wanted to clarify it with you guys first. Right now when you take the spark plug out and ground it it will spark ok at slow turns but not everytime over, then when you get to the heavier rpm the spark diminishes. Which results in the engine running for a second until it gains rpm in which it quits. Now it is even back firing, which would result in the spark igniting too late. What do you guys think? If it is the CH Igntion, what should I do about it? How much will it cost me?

Thanks,

Jamie
