Gotta do a little repair work . Vibration from the engine broke the upper and lower part of the fuselage around the engine . But it will be an easy fix .

Hey Al... I just took the pics of the Venice dud-fest off my camera and found this of you and Tony pretending to have fun.

Tom had a good time getting all that attention from people outside the local clubs here, and he said to say hi.

Best thing to do is send him a PM like the rest of us and maybe he will respond. I sent one back in January and have not heard back.

No worries Al, that damage 'aint nuttin............that stuff happens all the time, why do you think that tube was empty? Just appreciate the fact you did what you could do to repair the runway, I go out there often and patch prop strikes from people who just pick up the pieces and go home. It was a good enough fix to be a serviceable runway. Voodoo and I just left the field, it's all good and I'm getting more 'gunk' this afternoon. On the larger holes we over-cut the patch to the hole, slip it under the mat and then fill from the top with the sealer. As far as 'damage' goes? You're hole was not even in the top ten. GONNA HAVE TO TRY HARDER!

Just sorry about the 32..........Horizon sells fuselage kits ya' know

I'm sure Voodoo will be happy to set you back up!!

Speakin' of which, have you checked this Doug?

Any video of the Swist? Preferably one in slow motion so we can see it. And by slow motion, I mean half speed (125 mph).

Actually because of it's size (more the profile of a Hotliner) the Swist will be easier to video than those smaller fast movers.....................I'll defo bring some video equipment tomorrow!

Just launching that thing is a rush! On the steeper prop I didn't let go as much it just pulled away............dang...........Haven't been that close to those decibel levels since I saw Ted Nugent in the T-Bowl in 1979.
