Anyone know much about Champion Generators? Menards has Champion 2000w inverter generators on sale for $469.

I looked it up and it looks good. The square frame will be nice for halling in the trailer. The only thing I noticed was that it is 1700 watts with a peak of 2000 watts. That is a good price and it has a three year warranty.

Just using to power things like float charger, lights, small microwave, fan and the like.. Its $120 less then the Generac I have been looking at.

I haven't heard anything bad about them and the DBA is 53 which is the same as our Ryobi, you heard that run so I think you should be okay. I have seen poor reviews for the Generac though. You might want to check youtube for some reviews on the Champion if you are unsure.

Not the first time I have seen the reviews on the Generac.

Have seen the same reviews on the large Generac's, but have had a 5500 Generac for 15yrs with no problems


I do like the square box of the champion.
