I'm currently running several of the Proflow pipes on some of my planes. Our flying field is very strict about noise and I wasn't able to get any of mine to pass the inspections. Some people said I was going to need a cannister with three chambers instead of two. I looked online and I wasn't able to see anywhere that actually said how many chambers the medium Proflow cans actually have. How many chambers do the medium cans have?
I felt like most of the noise was prop noise but I'm not exactly sure where to start now. Thanks!!! |

put on a bigger prop and try again. Then when it passes,,, you'll know what to do after that and exersize throttle management too

From the research I've done, that is very true. That being said, I'm still planning on putting Pro-Flows in my Dalton 300 (don't have an engine yet) and running a 2 bladed prop.
Just out of curiosity, are you still making headers for the DLE 170 Dave? Don't know if that's the one I'll go with but if I do, I don't want to use the DLE headers. |

Actually Ben we never made the headers. We did however install our flanges on DA headers for a few customers.

Is the medium front and rear dump canisters the small length and are they the same size as mtw td-75k . I'm and planning to install a canister in a 3dhs 87 extra shp and calls for a MTW td-75k short canister just wondering if Proflow would fit . Thanks Russell

Hi Russel, the 75K is a short can that is larger in diameter. Our medium Pro Flow rear exit will go in there nicely. The medium pro flow is 11" ling and 2 1/4" OD
I suggest using our mount over any wooded mount. Dave |
