bhughes, I was wondering at what elevation are you Flying at up in the North Country. I hauled many wide, heavy oil rig components out of Calgary, and Edmonton years ago.

Hi ... I'm looking at buying a DLE 61 but confused about the muffler
There are two types of mufflers I’m seeing, one with the silicon extension and one complete metal like yours. Is there any difference? Is any one of them better? Or the silicon one is not original?

Hope to hear from any one soon so that i can make the Order. Thanks!

Trevors testing of the eme 35 isn't done yet he's going to test the wrap around pitts and mtw header and the pro-rc hype can.

I just bought a dle 61 about a month ago and mine came with the plastic extension for the muffler.. As far as I know that's the way they come. I like it because you don't have To butcher your cowl as much. I just take it on or off before or after I take the cowl on or off.Just so you know any mufflers or headers from a dle 55 won't fit. The 61 has a larger exhaust port and the mounting bolts are farther apart. As of lately the only headers I've found for a 61 are special order through mtw. I don't know of any other company making one. If someone does please let us know!

Yes im watching it, specially interested to see how the angled plug version performs compaired to the straight plug version, also keen to see his results on the crappy convoluted headers that alot of dealers shamelessly sell for pipe setups.

I actually have a couple EME 35 straight plug cylinder heads, really tempted to buy a eme 70 and build a straight plug 70 eme, may do if Trev's numbers comfirm it would make a large difference.

Once he tests the wrap around vs the stock exhaust we will know if the angled plug makes any difference
