Decals are on and painted the spinner...just waiting for falcon 24x9" and some switches. If this totals to 18lbs I will be a happy man.

Very nice, Wefinance01! I've had a 2-week spurt of craziness at work, and I leave Sunday for a 2-week motorcycle vacation, so I probably won't be finishing mine until mid-September. I have the DLE 55 mounted and will be carving up the cowl next. Then on to installation of the electronics and smoker.

Ran the engine with the falcon 24x9 at 6800 rpm...I believe she is ready for maiden so I can start on my second airframe EF 94" MXS for the summer. That big EME 120 will be on the last project for the year hopefully the big EF MXS will be here before it gets too cold.

Looks really good! If you get board with flying try the 120 in it. lol

Will need that 1 meter carbon tube for that $20 price. Anyone know a good place to source this? I usually go to graph tech but they want $49 plus shipping.

Not quite as cheap as they used to be, but still pretty cheap.

HK/Goldwing/Aeroplus 50cc sbach342 second flight (7 min 14 sec)

Finally had the chance to maiden and get a second flight. My Cg is center of the wing tube and so far so good. Cant wait to fly again with less than 10mph wind and see how it does low. The EME 70cc twin has great acceleration on this frame.

It's too bad HK changed the supplier for this plane. Would have like to of had one. The reviews on their site have now turned me off of it.

She is built and balanced...ready to maiden. Unfortunately I am already committed to a camping trip this weekend. The maiden will have to wait until Monday.

Maiden flight was pretty-much flawless.

50cc Sbach 342 Maiden (7 min 46 sec)

DLE 55 ran perfectly. The only issue was some sort of plumbing problem with the smoke tank...I couldn't get any smoke oil into the tank. I will work that out before the next outing.

Oh...and I also bent the wing tube in flight today. I will also be looking for a CF replacement.
