Bought a DA70 yesterday from a friend. He acquired the motor in another deal for a whole plane set up.
He didn't want the 70 so I took it.
Also just got off the phone with Dave Sullivan and ordered up a set of his new 35 cc Smooth pipes. (Tuned pipes )
Going to call DA tomorrow and order a set of headers.
In a week or two I should be able to get everything set up on the test stand and get some test results with stock mufflers and then the tuned pipes using an assortment of props

My wrap around pitts with the large can arrived from JTec. I am curious to see if it changed the rpm over my side dump muffler.

Are there any updates out for the da 70?
I know the 35 had a reed valve and reed block update. Anything for the 70 ?

Whoever told you the 35 had a reed valve and block update is mistaken. As for the 70 there is a reed petal update that we are doing free of charge. Let me know the serial number if the engine and I will check if it needs it.
