He was asking about a $60 carriage and a $17 wire kit and he thought they were both tailwheels and wanted to know the price difference. Read the post I was responding to

This tail wheel assembly looks like a nice budget option

I'm getting parts ready to assemble a new EF 91 Extra with a DA 60 on canister, should be here tomorrow.
I ordered a Xoar 24x8 laminated prop that is typically a sport prop, can someone tell me if this prop works well for 3-D or should I get the Xoar 24x3DA?

My flying is 65% 3D and 35% IMAC style

thanks

I may end up with that prop but I already have the Xoar 24x8, bought it from VVRC, at this point I can exchange it for another they have in stock and falcon 24x9 isn't one of them.

i recently switched to a falcon 24x9 after trying xoar 23x8, 24x10

hands down falcon 24x9 is the best prop.......slows the plane down perfectly on landing (23x8 xoar would not slow down fast enough)....spools up fast...good for 3d and precision flying both!

What differences did you notice in the 24x10?

Thanks for the advice guy's, sounds like the Falcon 24x9 is the smart choice, just don't know how long I'm willing to wait for them to stock it.
I have a falcon 23x8 wood that I can use for a while.

You have a lot of money in the plane/engine/etc. Getting the proper propeller is a wise move.

Dang, this thing "is" big. Makes my 31% MX2 look small, its only 2 in. difference in W/S but 10 in. length.
Everything fits well, all I could find wrong is some balsa gouging on the fuse from rubbing on the SFG's, I can probably fix that but there is a 4 in. dia. cloud on canopy clear plastic that I'm not happy with, it looks like something was rubbing on it even though it was covered with the canopy cover. I'll call EF about it on Monday.
