Not trolling here, just my thoughts. Not that I was asked to give an opinion, but here it is.
My hempel yak55m 3d's just fine.

Offer both versions,,, long and short fuselages with some really nice pocket type hinging like the real ones have and with the ability to balance the surfaces so we won t have to worry about High Speed Flutter

"Just fine" 3D performance is not what most 3D flyers seek for. 3D o=is not just harriering around and hovering.
Yet the scheme is gorgeous, I like

I was told by John at OMP that the wing span was going to be about 108". Thats was only a week ago, 112" sounds a little better!!

Sorry I seemed to have failed at semantics.

My hempel yak55m performs exceptionally well in the style of high energy 3d flying that I prefer. It most certainly does not fall short in knife edge(which is not "3d" anyway).

I agree that the plane pictured a couple pages back looks too skinny and stretched. What I disagree with is that your comments made it sound like yak55m's in general do not perform well in 3d. That is what my response was in reference to.

If you have to say in your post that you are not trolling...you probably shouldn't post the comments at all.

The production model will be 108" wing span with a fuse length of 100" with spinner. The picture is of the prototype which is a little on the skinny side. The production model has updates to the construction of the plane and updated parts to make it on mean machine. due date for sells will be late March

Very cool, looking forward to seeing one of the revised planes... any chance they will come in ARC, or do custom schemes?

From what I heard this might be a good IMAC bird and be able to compete with the 40%ers!!! :-)

So it looks like this might be my new IMAC bird. I know its smaller than the Raven, but I believe this thing is going to kick butt at IMAC! Gotta start looking for some good pipes for this bird for my 120. Luckily I have the headers already. I have 3W canisters but would like to put pipes on it.

Any news when these birds will hit the market? A few posts earlier late March was mentioned, but this due date is over already...

the pics on the OMP site still look like bulimia with wings... IMHO....

Are those pics of a prototype, or the current production model?
