that's good to know, thanks Robert.
One issue that I'd have to contend with would be the rudder servo. My pipe is 2.5" on the big diameter, and due to the length I'd have to raise the rudder servo mount. We'll see, but it's gonna have to be either a pipe or smoke. I just like sound of a pipe. |

Thanks Robert, I was able to pull up a 3 view with dimensions on your motor, I will have to measure up mine, I wasn't able to find a 3 view on-line, just the exhaust port opening.

Hopefully a few of you guys are still monitoring this thread since it has been dead for 6 months or so. I have really enjoyed this plane. Flying with a DA50 and it is a blast. I am very surprised that the gas tank that Great Planes supplies with this plane is so large. 50oz. I am on my second one as the first one I had with approx 50 flights went down due to pilot error. I made a bad decision and flue it too late in the day and the sun basically black out my vision and I lost it. Bummer! Immediately replaced it and almost through with the second build but the large tank is confusing. Going to go with a 34oz on the second build. Any comments on why GP supplies the plane with such a large tank??
