PAU Ultimate

I've been wanting another Bipe recently and decided on a PAU Ultimate. This is my first PAU airplane and couldn't be more pleased with the choice. The craftsmanship, finish and covering on this plane are second to none. The hardware package is impressive and customer support has also been second to none.

Gonna stuff a DA-85 in it and fly something with two wings again! Can't wait to get it in the air.

Thanks,

I've had a few of these. Right now I have the V1 (old BME Ultimate) with a BME 100 (I think. I inherited this airplane from a dear friend who passed away. I used to fly it for/with him, but really haven't looked under the hood that close!). It has PLENTY of power!

I also have the current version with a DA-120. All I can say is WOW!!! It is ballistic and puts this plane into a whole different category! Originally, I flew this airframe with an OLD DA-100 and it was plenty to do any maneuver in the book. The only reason I swapped to the 120 was because I put the 100 on my 35% Extra that I was using to practice precision flying and just didn't need the brute power the DA-120 makes.

My good flying buddy flew his with a DA-85 and performance with the 85 was very similar to mine when it had the DA-100.

It will fly well with ANY of the 85cc-120cc engines out there, just depends on how hardcore you want your combo to be.

Hope that helped!

Happy Flying!

Regards,

Astro

Found a couple of videos on different engines.

Here it is on a DA-85: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=X8H1rRXslXE

Another on DA-85, as you can see it does NOT lack for power on the smaller single! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=KSNYlpqS7N8

I can't find the DA-120 videos right now, but I'll keep looking!
