Here are a couple of shots of my work area. It is rather small but I can build 42% sized models in there. I use a door slab that I lay across the deep freeze, washer, and dryer for a work area on the larger planes.

That wouldn't work with my wife. Just as I glued that critical component she would have to use the washer. And she doesn't wait.

Here are some photos of mine. Have added a few new tools since these were taken and have
thoroughly made a mess out of it using it for the intended purpose

Yea, it's a real drag when the compromise is only in one direction

Don't get me wrong....my wife (21 years now) is a real winner and doesn't complain about my hobbies at all. We're both full scale pilots as well, so share that "hobby". Kinda glad she doesn't have any desire to fly RC though

One of these days I'm gonna convert one side of my barn shop into a decent model area!

That's great. I'm sure you know I was kidding.

My wife was a Flight Attendant. Hates my hobby/sport. And trys everything in the book to get me away from it. Usually involving some task that requires me to do alot of work. Go figure.

Ah yeah....I hang it there to keep me from running into the pole...still do it sometimes

Now that wood cutting season is upon us, I'll have my wood furnace fired up soon. Keeps the garage nice and toasty!!
