EQ-6 Question

I am experiencing an issue with my Eq-6. The issue I am having is that Channel 1 ( Throttle channel ) is not matching the movement that I perform on the transmitter. In saying this, the channel will act intermittent, eratic, and will even lock as I smootly move the stick. I have switched leads on the Eq-6 to other channels and the problem follows anything the surface/servo in channel #1. Any ideas ?????

Mark

Hi Mark,
Please send the unit in and we will take a look at it, repair or replace it and get it right back to you.

Hi Mark,
I got your unit and spent 30 minutes on it with my JR9303 and I cannot find anything wrong. Both channels 1 and 8 work smoothly with my radio. All the other 6 channels work fine. I did notice you left the function selector on 9 which would cause some strange behavior on the selected channel, which was 5 when it got here, but no strange behavior on channels 1 and 8. I am not sure how you want to proceed now. I have checked the unit out as thoroughly as I can and can find no evidence of the unit not operating properly.

EQ-6 Question FOLLOW UP

After receiving EQ-6 back from Smart Fly, noticed that I had the Futaba receiver in high speed mode. Was advised that receiver should be set to normal mode. After switch was made everything operated as it should. Big thanks to Bob at Smart Fly for great customer service. Mark

Ahh yes. Trying to use a non-digital servo in high speed mode will do exactly that. I put a cheap HK servo on my throttle just to test the channel and it had a seizure. I realized after a few seconds, no non-digital servos allowed on the 1-6 channels....in high speed mode. Once I put the digi on it, all was fine.
