Is it better to use AC or DC power for the light bulb. If using DC what voltage and battery power?

I'm sticking with incandescent... I tried those new mini-flourescent bulbs, but it locked out and I almost lost my airplane!! Maybe I'll try the flourescent again when the newer modules come out...

But what about L.E.D.'s??

I get at least 20 minutes flight time with L.E.D.s. and that's flying straight up all the time while doing snap rolls! Never using OLD sytle bulbs again!

Not only should they buy you a new one, but they should replace all your existing bulbs too and admit that there was a problem with their bulbs and that they should never have been lit up.

Re: Genesis of the marathon thread.

Is that bulb compatable with 2.4GHZ?

Does it snap or have a clean break when its nose drops?

Does it emit more lumens at sea level?

Re: Genesis of the marathon thread.

I am new to lighting. What bulb would you reccoment to start. I have been using candles for years, and want to start stepping into something bigger. I have all the standard stuff:
20 amps
120 volts
heavy duty switches
good wire

Something 75 to 100 watt arena. What are your thoughts?
