Get the Os. I have both the pte is an ok engine. The Os is a much better engine. Starts better ,idles better ,and is quieter.

We are still running our first gen pte engines. We ended up replacing a wrist pin bearing in one of them and found the ign timing set too high. Both of these engines have more gas thru them than I can count. Are they as good as my da engines? No they are not. Do they cost as much as da engines comparatively? No they do not. But for more power than a dle and light weight, they are really good little power plants. The great thing about them is that pte stands behind them.
