been eyeing to order one for over 5 months now. keep looking at website each day, and it states sold out. have contacted them, and they said, by end of January. then came across this thread:http://www.3drcforums.com/showthread...ra-300-EXP-ARF
which was posted december 4, 2012.
however, i was looking all that time, and it said sold out.
show of hands here, when this plane is available, will it be sold out in a day or so?

i am so excited!! can't wait til it gets here. only problem is i have not yet told my wife i bought a new plane. i am in process of buying servos for it. anyone have recs on which savox is more than adequate. i was going to buy 5 jr hv 8911DS8911HV High-Voltage Ultra Torque Servo

wow, what a deal
i just bought 5 JR HV 8911 for lower price than those savox. ordered them from chief aircraft. i am stoked. 200 dollars less than had i gone with horizon hobby.

savox are 125 a piece
HH sell JR HV 8911 at 150 a piece
Chief sells same servo at 121 a piece.

OMG, i cannot believe it. just went to EF web site, and the 91 is sold out!!!! wow, in the matter of one day. here is my story: i have been trying to buy this plane for over 6 months. i went to EF website about 1 month ago and signup for notice of when plane would be in stock. everyday, i would check website 2 to 3 times a day. then this morning, i woke up, checked at about 5 am, and nothing. then i went to work, at 7:45am, i left work, and went to my daughters school an attended chapel with her and my wife. then i left at 8:15 am back towards my office. right as i was walking into my offfice, i got an email that the planes were in stock. within 5 minutes of reading it, i ordered my plane. WOW, they sold out !!!

I'm kind of surprised that they don't run larger productions as popular as their frames are, but I don't know all the ins and outs of the business. I'm sure it's more complicated than it may appear.

All I know is they build a killer ARF. Hopefully I'll have a nice big package showing up soon with no smashed corners from a disgruntled UPS employee.

I would guess that their production facility is at its limit and they are not quite ready to expand in this economy.
