Same explanation for the mixes screens.

Also keep in mind that I've flown that eepe on SBUS in the QQ Extra for two days with no issues.

It still has no inputs and no functions assigned to sticks. The file is corrupt.

I'm not doubting that. All I'm saying is that the file you sent me is missing all the inputs and it's corrupt. Meaning ZERO mapping to sticks. If I loaded that file into my Taranis there would be no way it would know that the left stick is for Rudder and Throttle. Plus it's unable to add any inputs, because it's corrupt.

Run a fresh copy from your Taranis and post it please.

Basically it's coming down to the Aura not getting a signal from a FrSky non SBUS receiver. I flew a FrSky SBUS receiver in my QQ Extra yesterday and it was fine.
So that tells me the transmitter file and transmitter are ok on SBUS.

I've built a config file from scratch with someone who knows the system
Used a D6FR receiver with just the power wire and no signal as a test Bruce wanted to conduct and the light is still orange on Aura.
I then plugged a standard jumper from the receiver to Aura along with the modified power plug just for fun and still an orange light.

Then tried a different spank brand new D6FR receiver that was in the box and never flown.
Light was still orange with no signal as tested above.

Tried a digital receiver
Hooked it up SBUS to make sure it worked and it was fine.
Hooked it up and the Config Tool was receiving signal.
Hooked that same digital receiver up PWM style and nothing.
Light was orange.

Tried a different Aura.
It too was spank brand new out of the box and never flown.
Non change.
Orange lights.

Sure could use some help and ideas for Taranis non SBUS receivers and your Aura.
I was hoping to not buy more digital receivers since my 48" electrics all have non digitals and I wanted to put Auras in them.

Had someone report a Config Tool Issue (maybe first time after an Extra to OS conversion.... It may not have assigned the PWM Captures to the 'capture channels'.

You can check on the servo Ports Tab....
S1-S4 should be Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, Gear(Flight Mode)

If it does not have them per picture, either fix manually using the 'pull down' and put them in as above, or restart the Config Tool and run the 'New Aura Config File (wizard)' again and it should work.

(picture shows a correct Aileron Capture port)

Hey Bob,

I checked your file for the Taranis, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm now as stumped as you. Hope you can do what David Says in the post above and it works. For me, unfortunately I'll be flying off to Denver tomorrow and not coming back home until Friday, so I can't test anything. But on the weekend, I'll move my sbus stuff to the D8R and PWM to see if there's an issue.

While you're at it, take a look at my questions posted on a previous page and let me know if you think #3 can beused to scale down the range of my Master Gain proportional slider. If not that option, is there another way to do what I want? -->

Since my slider scale is wayyyyyy to broad, can I use that box to scale down the output of my slider to say 40% or so to tame down the Master Gains?

Please post a screen grab of what you have.

They are a SECOND control mode that can be assigned to a flight mode. It can be used for things like custom nose wheel steering setup's/gains, and thrust vectoring nozzles. It is quite advanced and shouldn't be used until the system is well understood.

Have not thought of that use.... I think it should work... feel free to try and report. I may try it over the next few days.
You can also use the Transmitter Travel Adjust to 'scale' the Master Gain input.
Tx +-100 gives 0-100-200% of Set Gain
Tx +- 50 gives 50-100-150% of Set Gain
low-middle-high

(the -100 can be useful as it is another way to 'turn off' the gyro input in testing)
