Eric, thanks. I have built a few kits in the past. Are the ribs cut or just printed? I start wondering if its worthwhile to buy a kit like this or just the plans? I'd really like to have flaps. Should be easy enough to do though.

Your progress has been great. As I read through threads on other forums, specifically one on RCU that has been on going for a couple years now I start to second guess my desire to build one of these. That guy seems rather compulsive though. Your faster pace makes the build seem more in reach.

vmceachern- I'd like to bush-ize one if I build, what tires are those?

Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to mention the ribs. The ribs are cut. Most of the sheeting is very close to the size needed, so just some final trimming is needed. It is just a little different than some kits because of the scale appearance they are going for. The wings are a piece of cake. I can't wait to get the covering on the fuse to see what it looks like. Does anybody know where to get 10" bush tires? Someone here is building a 1/3 scale cub and wants to put bush tires on that one.

The wings are finished. I was able to put the bottom covering on the fuse, then ran out. Covering should be here Monday. Everything else is covered except the fuse sides and top.

Yup. I will have to start using that now that the cold is here. I had to order more covering - thus the delay.

I have a couple of quick questions. Where can I find bungee covers? I have some stickers that I can't find where they go. I have "no step", and the one that says "rear seat for solo flying". Does anybody know where those are supposed to go?

I was able to get a little more done tonight. I had to tell my 4 year old I could not play with her because Mode 1 said I was going to slow on my plane.
