Salem Connecticut IMAC Competition Who's in?

This weekend is the Salem, CT IMAC Competition. Good Work TANK for making this happen.

Anyway, I know several pilots local and didn't even know they were into IMAC. They are telling me how much this has helped their skills as a pilot. I am hoping to learn a lot this weekend by attending and working there.

So just wondering who is coming? I'd know most the local folks. But looking forward to meeting, fellowshipping, talking and putting faces to the names here on the FG that are coming in from all around.

See you soon

This is going to be great. I saw a lot of people that I know testing their planes and getting everything ready. I was happy to meet people that had been on the road since this morning getting up to the Northeast corner... Where ever you go you find Flying Giants dudes!

I was also surprised to see several young dudes. They are there to win. They are not there to play I can tell you that! They are serious. I was able to chat a few minutes with them and some of their dad's. I was impressed and really impressed with the young dudes flying! You got to love them..They are so honest and say what is on their mind. For instance: Someone came in a little hard today and he let them know it LOL! I was laughing inside!

I can learn a lot form these guys! No kidding!

See you this weekend!

PS I FINALLY finished the J'TEC 330L and RH & I did the trim flight and it all went well! YEA! IIIII''''''MMMM BBBBBAAAAACCCCKKKK!

Re: Salem Connecticut IMAC Competition Who's in?

Hey guys! WOW what a great time we had at the IMAC competition! I did a trim flight on my new J'TEC the first day and never flew again after that! RATS! But I was bust with the event with THE TANKSTER! Man what a lot of work! I never did this before but it was all well worth the work!

I seen some really good talent and some young talent that we need to keep an eye on for sure!

Congrats to all that won. I do not have all the names but I know Tank will post something. But my buddy Matt that took first place in the Basic...WHat a good young talent. They all were though!

I myself am getting ready to start learning basic....Fun, Fun, fun!

Anyway did I mention we had fun?

I took several pictures with Rolling Harrier's camera and I am sure they will get posted. WHEW! What a weekend! I came in last night and crashed and didn 't get up till 6:30 AM this morning. I haven't slept like that in years! I am hoping for a carbon copy today!

Ok more later

Thanks guys! I appreciate it! It was definetly alot of work, but also alot of fun. It wouldnt have been possible without all the help I got from Klown, rollingharrier, and the RC Propbusters Flying Club. I dont think I have an ounce of energy left, its gonna be an early night tonight!!!!! Ill post the final results soon.

Yes, you were there at about 1030, stayed for about 5 mins, enough time to pick up your motor from Ron who did some gasket work for you, then you snuck off and left. As for the begging to fly part... ummm... no.... So dont represent it that I snubbed you! If anything, you snubbed my event!!!!!!!!
