Another Comp 260 ARF Build thread??

I know there has been a few Comp ARF 260 build threads already done but would you guys like to see another one? I won't bother with with things like bolting the gear on and things of that nature but the equipment install will be quite unique and all the equipment that the customer has supplied is first rate.

I'm only gonna read the thread if you manage to use a BME110 on the nose, and keep it under 30 lbs!!!!!

Sorry, to me that would be like having Boyd build you a hotrod and telling him to keep it to 100 hp.

Do it

Not just for others but for yourself. The guys here may be able to pick up a problem before you fly or give you hints and tips on how to do something during the build, allows others to comment on your setup as you go. IMO build threads a great and well worth the extra time and hassle during the build. Just my 2 cents...

Hey Shawn congrats on the Oakdale IMAC, Heck yeah do that build, I'm in the middle of mine just waiting for my 5955's to come in from Cheif so I can get finished. I'm going straight stock on my servo arms kind of worried though cause I'v seen how the 8611a servo wheels have stripped out and I'm not sure how they will do on the 5955 wheel.

Ok then, it's a done deal. I will be starting the airplane on Monday and will be
posting some pics soon after that. It will go pretty quickly because I have promised to get it back to the customer in 2 weeks from start.

Tell ya what Rusty, please don't take this as arrogance or being cockey. I'm just gonna have some more fun with this. If anyone can find something in my build that would put the airplane at risk I will send him/her a new tailwheeel of their choice. Biff can be the judge.

LOL, too funny. As of now here is the bill of materials

Comp ARF 3M Extra 260
Sala DA 150
StockMufflers
Mej 32X10
Pete's 5" spinner
All Fromeco batteries
Emcotec Power box
Hitec 5955 on all flight surfaces
R/C Blimp Carbon Pro V 2.0 tailwheel
