Thanks. I have the pencil drawing of the cut away. It's 24x36. You can't tell by the photo but it's really impressive too. They did not have the color one in stock but they provided the pencil drawing one at a reduced price. It was worth every dim. You can see him working on the final product which is really cool too.

I would have thought they would have left that out of the drawing.

Well I decided to make my own hinges. 1/8 th ply x 1 inch tall. They'll interlock with the sticks. Photo's are self explanatory I think. These will make gapless hinges just like full scale.

Here's the wood version. 1/8 th rod will run as the hinge with wheel collars to lock it in.

Just got back from a good friends house. We ripped an old 2x4 into 1/4 sticks. Thanks Gus.......

Karl -Are you going to do your own fiberglass work for the cowl and wheelpants, this is an awesome project!

Just polyglued the sticks in 1/2 of the horizontal.

Yes. That another disease I have. Polyesterresincerebralangitis. Been pissin with glass for25 years. We'll lay up all the parts. Can't decide if they'll be one ups or I'll make molds. Prolly molds.

Test. Is there a limit on how many photo's you can upload? I think they shut me down. Anyone know?

Never mind. It's seems to be working now.

Took the belt sander to the sticks. I wouldn't try that on balsa.

There's a pile of pictures coming.

Glued the opposite side sticks in. Found that if you put painters tape on the glue joints it contains the poly glue when it expands. Saves yourself a lot of sanding.
