42% Aeroworks Ultimate rebuild!!
OK, I got a hell of a deal on this!
I will be stripping it all the way down, remove the turtle decks, make some much needed improvments, then reassemble, recover. Power will be the ZDZ 210 in the pics, 5955's all around, emcotec, fromco Batts. It will be getting new gear from TNT also! This was one of the first ones sold, Scott Hubbard put over 300 flights on it before he tried to land it through a fence. The second to last pic is this ulti next to my old H9 ulti Scott |

hey Scott...just a little bit of advice. Doin a rebuild-thread does not mean slapping some packing tape on it to "hold it over"....slapping some nasty old servos you had "laying around" and calling it done!

Didn't that thing have the nickname of "The Barbie Plane"? And I remember it being flown more than once to the song "I'm a barbie girl". Is that the formal glory your speaking of?

Yup it did! I still remember the show we were all at where the little girl walked past the Ulty and yelled out "Look mommy, it's the Barbie plane!!"
Even if it's not covered pink, I'm still planning on playing "I'm a Barbie girl" any time it takes to the air! |

reminds me of chip hydes ulti, for a second there i thoght chip hyde crashed it, but after looking at the logos, i figured. maybe i can pick up tips from this thread to help out with my other repair thread.
