If your already taking the carb off, give it a good cleaning, especially in the catch screen, might have some crap in there. Ive also seen this happen from a bad spark plug.

If everything was working okay up until now and it's been 2 years along with bubbles that you said was seen, I'd be looking at the clunk line inside the tank and make sure it's sitting at the back and bottom of the tank. Sounds like maybe the clunk line might be sucking air at times.

"...Engine have some Bubbles..." - agree w/ Scott...while you're replumbing the tank, i recommend viton for the pickup line and a walbro felt filter for the clunk.

ive been thinking about this. do you think the felt clunk filter would flow enough fuel for a 150? i havnt dont it simply cuz i figured it would be to much restriction.

go to your local small engine repair shop...the walbro-type felt filters come in different sizes...the one I use on my 100cc is huge, but still fits through the opening in my Fiji water bottle tank...This is the clunk I use. It says "up to 80cc", but i'm positive that there will be no fuel restriction with 1/8"-ID fuel line. good luck on helping your friend, and let us know how you solved the problem and found the lost RPMs.

Easily and then some. The smaller 30cc size filter is plenty big enough. So is a 3/32" fuel line but most way over plumb their engines.

Plus the 3/32 line fits most fittings tighter, less chance for air leaks.
