EQ6 powers up slowly
I maidened my 37,5% Edge a few days ago. When I turned on the switch (miracle double) nothing happened for about 20-25 seconds. I run 2 A123`s 3050 mah through the miracle switch into the smartfly EQ-6.
After approx 10-15 seconds I could hear the servos start to buzz, and after another 10-15 seconds the rudders will deflect on stick input. Is this normal with the EQ6? Thanks |

Wondering about that Miracle switch.. I have a Fromeco wolwerine I can try. Hmm. Happens every time I turn the power on, though, so that makes me think it`s not the switch.

Bypass the switches and see what happens. I am assuming these are switches with at least 18ga wire and Deans plugs on both sides?

First of all - thanks for the replies and the service! I think I might have been a dumbass here. Got these servos from a friend, and they are Power HD 8325 HV. Never had HV servos before, but the spec says 6-7,4V on these servos (oh, why read what the manual says)
Sorry guys, but could that be the reason? If i change to 2-cell Li-ion or Lipo, and set the output voltage on the PE higher, do you think that would do the trick? |

Hi,
I doubt that servos are the issue. The will pop on as soon as the receiver starts sending pulses to them. Quote:
