Help!
DA 60 Diaphragm Spring Part #

Anyone know the part number for the diaphragm spring in the HDA carb used on the DA 60?

I can't seem to find which model of Walbro HDA is on there and when I did a search there were a couple different springs.

I stretched my spring just a little to try to get rid of some issues and I just want to get a replacement in case I need it in the future.

I read a while back that GP and DA used the 246-A.You should be able to use any HDA carb spring. As long as it pops off at 30lbs. or just a little more, that seems to be the normal setting. This is what makes it bad by not leaving the number on the carb. But it makes it just a little harder for some copy cats to use it.
Did stretching the spring help?

That question will be answered hopefully this weekend. I may throw the wings on it and fire it up in the backyard.

I'm also partly worried that I over did it lol.

It doesn't take much.I cut two coils off the spring and it went from 35 to 15lbs. pop off.
I have also used a small ball bearing in the pocket to space the spring to increase.
I had a lot of trouble with mine running rich midrange.
