Excellent find. Your eagle eyes were evidently better than QC at Walbro.

Glad that's behind me. the DA is now running absolutely perfect and is an animal. I'm very impressed with it so far. Got the carbon wing tube sanded down and it was pretty easy and DEFINITELY the best solution. Just treat it like it's wood and use similar techniques. I made a wooden mandrel for my lathe to spin it around while holding progressively finer grits of paper ending up at 1000. It looks just like what I started with. I didn't sand the center section as it fit OK in the fuse as is. Now that's a custom fit.

I saw that on HH.

Hangar 9 still shows you can order one from them.

I have one that I'm building and have a question. Putting a DLE 55 in it with a canister. My first gasser. So my question is I need to order a header and no clue as to whether or not I need a 25 or 50mm drop header. How do I know, where do I measure etc? Exactly what is the Drop?

I used a flex header and can from milehigh rc. This allows you to bend the flex portion of the header to the correct angle for your specific installation. Engine installed is an EME 55cc.

I was thinking Horizon would discontinue this model as it is more tailored for precision flying and not 3d. It is probably the best 50cc size IMAC capable model out there. Glad I got another during their black Friday sale.

Word I'm hearing is it cost too much to produce. I had a problem with mine but now with it being disco'd looks like it was a blessing. Horizon ended up sending me a bunch of new parts as I had some fitment issues and they did not want the old ones back. the parts are repairable or usable as is so I'm good to go with a spare rudder, fuselage and 2 canopies. I'd like to purchase a set of wings/stabs and a cowl for a complete set. Cowls are all gone so those are gonna be tricky.

I had the same issue. We were both in the same shipment which looks to be the last one. Canopy did not fit worth anything. They sent me a second canopy and I finally had to sand it down to fit.
