Well, my winter project arrived today, and its not the Yak that I ordered but an Edge. So I guess I'd have to say my progress staus would be, STALLED.

Hey Wayne! I've been ok, the real question is how are YOU doing. I about fell over when I ran across the thread about your heart troubles!! You still healing or all healed and back to normal? Thats some scary stuff! My brother that is only 4 yrs older than me, just had DBL bypass surgery 3 weeks ago. He's doing well, but the dumb$&^% is still smoking, (I quit 2yrs ago )

I've been on a few year break from serious flying ,just some electrics here and there. Starting to get back into it alittle for this comming season.

I say it was the best worst thing to happen to me.
MUCH healthier now.
Wake up call for sure.

It will be good to see you at some flying events this season. Its been a long time.

I took on the daunting task of building 3 new planes this winter .In the line-up this seasonI will have a 39% Dalton Extra 300 , 35% Carden Extra 330 , and a Carden Cuda I took a 2 month leave from work for the majority of the build and paint . Just started working on covering 35% Carden yesterday . Will update when there is a bit more progress .

I'm loving the weather in Daytona while on vacation but am looking forward to getting home to work on it some more.

Jusy got my winter project a couple of weeks ago. A Pilot 50cc YAK-54. Progress slow but got the wings and stabilizers 95%. Starting on fuselage now. Between work and the wife it's tough. Also bought a house so now I pack up the house and my shop so that slows it even more. Still should have it ready for the season, if it ever gets here.

Carl, that Pilot 50 cc is going to be stunner when you are done - can't wait to see that baby fly!

Me too. Definately like the colors. Airplane is VERY light. Extremely well built.

I'm working on getting my 'mostly built' fleet in the air before I can consider buying a new airframe. I have 4 projects going at once!

Here is one of my projects that I have on the building table. I purchased this plane from a FG add with the intent of having a 40% ready to fly ASAP. The shipping company changed all of this when they decided to change the look of the plane. So, I put the other projects on hold to get this Extra flying. As you can see it is almost ready. The bad part……. I have more time in this plane than I would have had in finishing the ARC 42% Slick that I was working on.

I'm lucky to get just one this year. Wanted to make a new field box, but won't get to that. Have a couple of other "want to do" things, but put off again. you know how it is.

I also have a new trailer to build out - fortunately it has been so damn cold i cant even consider starting on that. Spent most of this weekend college shopping with our middle daughter - may get in the shop later this week - i hope.
