Yes that is very close! Pretty much a drop in replacement for the DLE-20!

I wonder what the output would be like?
It doesn't seem to loose much on the larger engines....

The 200cc quad is equiv. to a 180cc twin?

SO a 88cc quad would be like a 55-60cc single?

OS did it with there 1.60... twin....
I am sure it would work and sound really good...

really wish I had a Mintor... instead of the dle 20cc...

A little quad would be awesome!!!....to bad it would cost twice as much as the air frame it would go in.

Great idea! Now I kinda want to buy one and have it gold plated. Better yet, gold plate a Mintor 220! Now that would make a sweet show piece at the shop:-)

Of all the engines out in the market nothing looks as good as a mintor in any size, italians make mechanical products look great just like there sport cars and i dont care what lots of people say Mintors run great this 22cc looks like a winner and will do good I bet.

its a weeee bit longer than a DLE 20.
Mintor 22 = 142mm
DLE 20 = 138mm

Crutially the Mintor gets its extra length ahead of the cylinder centre line which means if you have a DLE 20 fitted and want to swop in a Mintor 22, you have the prop and spinner extend further from the cowl.
Mintor 22 is 61.5mm ahead of the ffront mounting holes vs teh DLE 20's 56mm measurement.

This should be taken into account when swopping the engines
Fortunately it merely requires you to move your cowl forward by a few mm to compensate because the engine slightly shorter from the rear mounting holes to the end of the carb

We do not have a DB meter at our location. The results might not reflect your field location if we did. Plus they are new enough we have not had a chance to run one here as of yet.

Based on what I know of the larger sized Mintors, This engine would be great in a MoJo 65 or a Wrongway RC 20cc profile. You get the best of all worlds then - A LOT of fun with a plane and the beautiful engine is not hidden from view.
