World class pilot, No.2 in F3A World Champs, Mr. Tetsuo Onda flies the EF Edge with OS GT55 back in 2010....

I received mine some days ago and looks very bright, it is the EXP with the SFGs, I did not have the time to start bulding but just after inspection looks awesome in terms of quality. It is a little faty boy...haha The airfoil is thicker than the Extra 91'' and 78''. The fuselage is as fat as the H9 35% 120cc I currently fly.

gonna use a 23 x 8 mejzlik carbon prop. Fg57ts its a newer model for aerobatic planes.

All I need are servos now, im still deciding on either HS7954SH or HS7955TG

I ordered parts online, still waiting for all to be in place. It would take prolly a month for everything to be completed. By then I will upload the maiden video !

There's not much difference between the 2 servo's except the 7955's have titanium coated gears and the 7954Sh don't . You can run them both at high voltage and they produce about the same amount of torque, that being said, I would buy the HS-7955TG's.

I bought 6x Hitec 7954

I bought most of the parts like SWB servo arms, fromeco batteries etc from US stores, it would take roughly 2 to 3 weeks for the shipment to get to my place, as I live in Singapore.

For the EF Edge 540T I will be using 5 MKS 777HV. This must be a great servo specially in HV applications. Two HV Futaba Rxs each connected to a 2S LiPo with Fromeco Badger. Each Rx will handle half of the plane. I don't want to overload a single Rx with so many servos. May be I could do so, but I am not very familiar with HV setups, I still learn.

J.Dussia consulted that we need 1.5 inch on ailerons and 1.75 on elevators (if it is the EXP version). In addition the max throw on ailerons must not be as high, the plane has a short wing and can roll like crazy. 38-40 degrees is ok as long servo power is enough and there's no blowback.

With the Saito it is a very interesting setup of yours, let's see how it goes.
