Hangar9/Carden Yak 54 + knife edge spin = bad idea?
so ive been RealFlighting my Yak model lately and working on my knife edge spins. It seems that about every 5th or 6th one my model loses a stabilizer. Is this just a quirk of the software or is that an omen that I shouldnt do knife edge spins on my real life model? anyone that has/had one of these yaks did them successfully?

only one way to find out !! as far as i know that move is more about the motor box ... stress then stabs |

that makes more sense considering the big gyroscope I have mounted on the front. the motor box seems to be pretty strong as it extends well into the fuse with some other parts boxing it in. i guess i'll just have to give'er a go.

You'll be just fine. There's nothing to worry about. I've beat ours pretty hard and it's still holding up well! You can see a KE spin at 1:59.
