It could just be an optical illusion, looking through the bottom of the bottle...
but make sure your clunk isn't touching the rear. It should be 1/4"-3/8" away
to make sure it doesn't hang in one of those corners after the gas swells/stretches it.

It's far better to have the clunk not quite reach the bottom... than for it to hang in that
particular position, while the right wing is up on a knife edge... for one example.
Just a tip.

Scott not sure if you considered this or not but there is a need for a lower profile 32 oz tank for those that would like to get the fuel tank over the wing tube. The Windex bottle is perfect for this except the thread profile is coarser than the water bottle size. Any chance of making a aluminum cap in coarse thread to open up more options in bottle selections? Or does anyone know of a flat profile bottle in the fine threads?

Same here. I run a Fiji 32oz. bottle in my 35% Carden with a DA-100. It just fits well and plenty of left over fuel after a nice 15 minute flight.

Ohio is helping me. I just want to have my gas centered over the CG or as close as I can get it. I'm using twin 500ml Fiji bottles that are working great. The one negative is that when I fuel up I have to let the bottles equalize the fuel level. It's about a 10 minute process versus a single tank that could be filled in less than a minute.

I found a bottle that would work perfect for me, it's 40 oz in size and the majority of its volume would be closer to the CG in my plane. Similar to my current setup. Unfortunately this bottle has the coarse threads and a PSP cap does not fit.

I wouldn't even have to use the full 40 ounces. With my Fiji's I'm getting 14 minutes flying time and coming down with a good 200ml fuel left it the bottles.

Picture: 500ml Fiji; 40 oz; 1000ml Fiji

I'll run it past John for an idea of future items, right now he is so busy trying to keep up with orders and restocking what he offers now that new stuff will be slow to come...

I just ordered a PSP cap, since after about 110 flights the blue plastic cap started leaking. I use a 1 liter Fiji bottle to feed a DA-120 and after 10 minutes, about 3/4 is gone.
