Anyone tried the ES Composite pipes on either engine (DL50 or DL55)?

Re: New DL-55 and DL-111

Has someone weighed the DL-55 on an accurate scale. Trying to see the actual weights vs the published weights.
I would appreciate if someone could tell the weight of the entire engine (engine, plug, standoffs etc) + the ignition.

The muffler choice is the users so I don't like to see that weight included with the engine weight.

Thanks

What does the muffler weigh so it can be subtracted from the total?

hey look a clone of a clone. do two clones make a right.

Earmarked in China as the DL50-Killer. The Turnigy HP-50 has shamelessly borrowed porting and head design from the DL and combined it with a CNC machined billet alloy crank-case to produce a powerful, lightweight and reliable engine.

Never thought I would see the phrase "shamelessly borrowed" as part of a marketing endeavor. Maybe "shamelessly borrowed" translates to "improved upon" or "upgraded" in Chinese...

well...."Turnigy" is sold out of hobby city and hobby king , a huge china based hobby supplier. I can't believe they actually copied the DL like that....incredible! I guess they don't have trademark or patent laws over there that work worth a damn.

well if I understand correctly, Turnigy and XYZ are the same. There is another thread going on here somewhere regarding the whole thing. Not a good thing.
