Nah, I think we had a good time. I always enjoy the company, especially if the company works on my airplanes.

We got more color on the plane tonight. Bottom strip of Cub yellow is on both sides of the fuse. It b lookin good! Also worked out some minor issues with the elevator and rudder servos..
My cell battery is dead. I'll post pics when it it charges up a bit...

Here's the pics. Next session, we're going to glue in the stab/elevator and finish covering the fuse.

Starting with the last pic, on post number 475, and working your way up:

Bryan removed the elevator covering, and recovered same. It looks MUCH better now, thanks!. Working in REVERSE order. Counting up from pic on post #475... Pics 1-5 is the recovering of the stab. Next 3 pics are the test fitting of the stab, and cutting back of the Monocote where we'll be gluing stab in the fuse. We used 15 minute Epoxy here. Next 3 are the gluing of the stab into the fuse. Last 6 are showing Bryan gluing in the chunk of rear fuse we removed the install the stab/elevator assemble. We also added another block of balsa to partially fill in the hole there...

I'm going to take this opportunity to hijack the thread for a moment. I don't think the O.P. will mind.
My 104" 3DHS Slick arrived today. I've looked over it quickly, and it looks grand. The wings were TRIPLE boxed. It also had thick wooden strips between the outer and middle boxes. Nice. Monogrammed, sewn cloth wing bags. Again, Nice... Decal set, really not expected, Nice. Surfaces hinged and gap sealed, very nice. Fuse nicely double boxed, and cushioned with soft foam, and a beautiful CF spinner. If the plane flys as well as it looks, it's gonna be a winner. It looks as if 3DHS is kicking the bar a couple notches in an upward direction. "Other" Guys?, Better watch out! These people are gonna eat your lunch...
