The high demand for two stroke engines came with the development of the chain saw. Carburetors designers we interested in the carburetor doing two things, idle well and run at full RPM's. They were not concerned with anything between that. These first engines were magneto spark powered and had no spark advance so you had the same spark setting all the time, some engines still do. The first electronic ignitions also did not have a spark advance but some engine manufactures developed manual advances that work from the throttle linkage. We now have ignitions that do have electronic
timing advance and they work good? I have some early C&H ignitions that work great but the Rcexl ignitions work great also, we have about a 2% failure rate.

20 years ago we would loved to have an engine that run's like the ones today. If you had went through the early days of gasoline engine you would not be complaining about these small things.
Please understand this is only my opinion from my 30+ years experience.
Thanks

I don't want to take any business away from Kole but I have 3 - GP123's left and I think one GP61.
Give us a call for a good deal (253-875-6890) as we will have no more. We will support Kole and send him our GP business.

Sounds way better than stock muffs!! Hate the sound of stock muffs. At least it sounds like a racing type two stroke instead of a chainsaw
