100cc expander

Good day,

I want to use the new hitec hi voltage servos (1 everywhere) and am looking at the powerexpander pro because there is not need for additional switches and can have 2 lipos pluged in directly into it . however i will need to run 1 servo for the throttle which will not be HV type. so what would be the solution to the problem in my case since i cannot connect it to the receiver to run on regulated voltage. my only though is to plug in a reg into the throttle channel to reduce the voltage for the throttle ...

any ideas are apreciated.

Alex

That's what you have to do. Spektrum makes such a regulator:

Hi,
We make a servo regulator (http://www.smart-fly.com/Products/Regulator/4.htm). One side would plug into the PowerExpander and the other side would go to your servo. It will reduce the servo voltage to 5.2V.

NO, DO NOT connect any servos to the receiver when using any of our systems. The regulator for the receiver can only handle 1 amp and a stalled servo can take this regulator out.
