Someone had to start this thread! We're all focused on the upcoming holiday but I know in the back of our minds (mine anyway) we are thinking about the first contest with the new sequences. So who's going???????

My preparation amounts to finishing my new stick plane Now I'm ready!

I'll be new in the Region (mvoing to Georgia this weekend)
Not sure if I will be ready to make it...

R/C Bush Pilots will be representing!!!! 3 from our field will be there. myself (phil bederka v.p. ) and Brian boots ( pres.) for sure, 3rd member joining us not so sure yet. he has to get his plane done first.... have to do alot of work still.

Hey Mike,
I am working hard to get a new Carden 260 finished for the first event. Doesn't leave me much time to practice the new sequence as I am also thinking about a move up to sportsman at the same time.
I am probably getting a little over anxious, I should probably fly the old plane and class for a few events.
And I will be bringing a couple of pilots with me.
Our local field has gone from no IMAC pilots to possibly five at this event.

Looking forward to seeing the new Carden and glad you're making the contest and bringing additional pilots. I enjoyed this contest last year and wouldn't miss it this year for anything. I have practiced very little (what's new) and trying to condense a lot of stick time into the little time remaining. The weather this weekend is not cooperative however. I look at it this way......if you don't practice the known sequence it just prepares you better for flying unknowns!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

mike, ill be there. i know how you feel about not flying your knowns. ive been receintly kick out of my club so now where to fly as of yet. looking like the first chance ill get to fly the known is friday at the port st lucie feild. did somebody say known unknown. should be fun to say the least. see everyone there.

I've changed plans and will be down Friday Am. We'll get in a few rounds of practice there.
