Not sure if there will be early flying. You can give me Dad a call, his number is on the flyer.

Hey Guys,

If you know anyone who wants to get started in giant scale in a big way I've listed a package deal with my Extra, Ultimate, Radio, and Trailer in the Swap Shop. Defiantly not getting out of flying, just ready to try something different and mabye downsize a little till the kids get older and I have more time to fly.

Thanks,
E

The indoor flyin was great. The crowd was smaller than last time, but that means that everyone got to fly as much as they wanted. RJ Gritter was there and put on some really good flights. He is preparing for the ETOC and had a couple of new planes. It is insane what he does to reduce weight on those models.

Sorry, I did not take pics, but I know some people did.

QUESTION ????

What's the rules when it comes to extending power leads on an ESC? I need to extend them by about 12" to reach the batteries which are located in the nose of a Mosquito. I know that Castle Creations has a CapPack that is suppose to overcome the ripples in the battery voltage caused by hard acceleratons or long battery leads. It looks to be a bank of capacitors installed close to the ESC. Thanks - Ken

Just a bit off topic....but...Now I'm experimenting with the idle-up radio setting for my Heli. That make me excitingly dangerous.

No more staying at least 20 feet away from Joe with his Heli; now it's 30 feet.

I hope one of the Bigger Electric guys can chime in here to verify this is right but in the past I have extended the black/red power line between the lipo and esc, I have never extended the 3 poles going from motor to esc

Thanks to Papa Smurf and the gang for a great fly in. Even thou the crowd was small we had a great time. Five of us Tarheel Flyers came and got in a lot of flying. Hope to see everyone soon. Joey

I've read that you should extend the motor leads instead of the ESC battery leads. Its a long explanation why, but it made sense to me.
