Official Red Aero MXS-R 50cc Build Info
All right here goes.. Drum roll please. Let this be the official thread for the Red Aero MXS-R 50cc. I was looking out the window all day at work and then I seen the big brown truck and knew it was a good day. The box had a good hole in the side which had me concerned but no damage. I didn’t even get to open the box till 10pm but I got everything inspected and photos. The only thing I notice right off in the hinges, I will be replacing the ones dry stuck in the rudder with my dubros, the prehinged elevators and ailerons are tightly hinged, so will see. Enough of me rambling on I know you guys want photos.. so I came prepared. Enjoy.
Mike PS I know I will not be the first one to complete this plane so folks if you got one put info here. ImagesView all Images in thread |

Great beginning PitV. Thanks for all the pictures as I personally have not seen this plane in 3D's yet myself! What are your plans for power, muffler, servos, ect? |

Nice photos Mike,
We're glad that it arrived undamaged. You can tell that the UPS drivers don't fly model airplanes. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so hard on them. What can Brown do for you? Stop punching holes in the side of our airplanes would be a good start! |

BAHH!! thanks.. its soo cool looking. Indeed about cutting the nose scoop. I plan to use my current DA50 since its broke in. that wont happen till I have all the other stuff later on, so I can keep flying my yak for awhile. servos I dont know yet, nothing is set in stone yet. it will have smoke. If theres anything that you guys want pics of let me know.

Mike can you tell me the distance fron the front of the firewall to the front of cowl? I am considering an electric conversion and this would help me greatly.

sign me up for that photoshoot. Im downloading the manual CD now, ill get the firewall to cowl distance shortly. Im still not seeeing how one is to put the cockpit sticker way the heck down inthe canopy haha. might not fool with it, I may cut the foam out for better venting.
