It has some carbon reinforcements throughout.

Jealous!!

If I hadn't blown the hobby budget this year on a 3.3 Compy Yak and a new 18MZ, a DEMONstrator would be mine!!!

This is a beautiful decoration but a bit expensive anyway.
I just bought an Extra 300s to 770 dollars.

Let these who think this may be an expensive ARF go out and find a balsa and ply kit in a box where they would not only have to build and not just assemble it by simply adding engine, radio and accessories that's even close to the quality and performance of one of 3DHS or Extreme Flights airframes. And if somehow they could, have them go buy just the covering, hardware and glue to build it, not counting the many hours of actual building and covering the airframe and come back and honestly say that it's too expensive.

+1
A friend built a superb scale Edge from plans with a DA-50 and after getting an AJ, he is now selling the Edge because the ARF flys better.

I guess several folks consider this a good value as most all of the inventory of the Demonstrators sold out in 24 hours.

There you go B.

Congrats on the new plane, seems a pretty darn fair price for a hot-rod ARF if you ask me. This is a sick looking plane in person, cool factor is off the charts.

I just don't get the dark colored design. That would turn into a black silhouette too often where I fly. I wish they would reissue the 88"Extra 300 in that red/white design. I know old school, but it worked.

I also thought this as well, with the red and black..given that Red quickly turns to black at a distance given the grey skies of the PNW. Same thing happens to my 42% Raven which has, at times, caused me to wonder what side is facing me. lol

I do think though, that the invasion stripes on the top of the wing would help with contrast.

Me too Cross.
I just bought a Demonstrator, and when the new 110's arrive, I'll pick one up as well. I got the engine for it a month or so back. I had an "old style" 110 and enjoyed it immensely.

Well hello Mr. Griffin!

I would really love to pull the trigger on the 110 and the 104 Extra 300 but I can't imagine the look on wifeys face if two new birds showed up at once on my door step! I really think that demonstrator is awesome. congrats on the new bird, I'm sure you'll probably break a few rules with it but have a great time doing it!!

Off topic I know, but any word when the 110" yaks are coming? I'm waiting on the 110" or might have pulled the trigger on a Demonstrator
