Thanks. Well, I'm on "vacation" in Florida so even if the weather is great in Charlotte, I won't be flying it again until next year.

Yea, yea, yea... we all know you have already mastered the "lite as hell, flys great" planes, so my thought is your going in the opposite direction with the 85cc stuff, do something new for 2009.

I actually mounted the DA-50 in her last night, and tightened up the covering.
(the negative 2 deg temp is making my house very DRY as the heater continues to pump, making the balsa of all my planes shrink)

I also started gluing the hinges. Also have some 8611a's lined up and a nice Fromeco set up going in her.
One more week of loving assembly and she will be ready to sit for 2+ months waiting for the crappy Ohio weather to change.

Hey Sleepy....supposed to be close to 50 deg here Christmas day! For WV that ain't bad, and if I can pry myself away from turkey, etc I may just go blast at the reindeer with my 87 SHP.

Of course, we ain't in Cleveland...

HAHA!! great flyin'! You just about lost her there at the end....would of had to bring her in floppin' the rudder back and forth. these things can swim pretty good ya know?

That's awesome Josh!! A stab, rudder, and wingtip touch all in one pass Loved hearing the girls laughing too. Very cool.

I managed to knock off one of the stops inside the stab tube. Any idea, other than pinning or gluing the stab tube in to keep it centered?
