Oh, we FOR SURE need the rain. We are back into stage 1 water restrictions as of this past weekend. What we got over the weekend was just that annoying off and on drizzle.

YES, our lake is great for float fly-ins. We have a float fly every first Sunday of the month. You cant see it in the pics, but there is a carpet ramp there we use.

Here are pictures of a float plane I built 3 years ago. I had Wot 4 on floats before but just didn't have enough power for aerobatics, so found this.

It is a lovely model to fly - it flies like a f3A model and with the inverted tail it steers really well in the water

The inverted tail is a great idea for the water rudder, it looks like it would be a hot rod off the water.
