A very awesome experience........believe it or not, when you get a hold of the box yourself and stand out on the line it all seems more under control than just watching the other guy go at it.............the Viper is a very stable plane, or at least
yours is after you chased down the set-up. I would imagine a maiden on a fast mover could be hairy.........................if'n I get a carbon pylon YOU'RE gonna maiden it right?
The only thing that took me kinda by surprise was the great loss of vertical lift in the turns, but that makes pulling hard elevator natural and what you prolly need to be doing anyway to fly the course. Those swept wing EDF's kinda primed me for that. And left thumbing for a rudder that doesn't exist. Still trying to wrap my head around the fact the plane flew coordinated perfect turns without a rudder? Wierd...............
